...can Spring be far behind?

 

Ieri ho trovato la prima margherita, forte in mezzo alla neve. Il segno che la primavera è alle porte. 
Se però mettiamo piede fuori casa e respiriamo forte si sente che l'odore dell'aria è ancora quello freddo e pungente dell'inverno, che non ci vuole abbandonare. Oggi il cielo è del colore del ghiaccio e l'aria odora di neve. Sta arrivando, ancora una volta, una piacevole nevicata a coprire quelle margheritine nel giardino che hanno tirato fuori i loro bei petali un po' troppo presto. 
Intanto noi continuiamo la nostra routine dei mesi freddi: cappotto, guanti e lunghe passeggiate finchè i nasi non diventano tutti rossi e la pelle non inizia a far male per colpa del freddo. 
Nei tempi morti poi scappa qualche bacio colorato di rossetto appena messo.

Yesterday I found the first daisy of the year, strong in the snow. It's the sign that spring is upon us.
But the smell of the air is still the cold and bitter winter, it's still here.
Today the sky is the color of the ice and the air smells of snow. It's again coming a nice snow to cover those daisies in my garden. They pulled out their beautiful petals a too soon.
Meanwhile, we continue our routine of the cold months: coat, gloves and long walks until noses become red and the skin hurt because of the cold.
